Historically, women have had a lower status in the financial world than men. Women were the property of men until 1817, and they had no financial rights until the “Married Women Property Act” in 1839.In the modern-society, women continue to be financially disadvantaged in comparison to males due to gender stereotype, gender wage gap, financial literacy gap, and internalized discrimination.

 

Women who have been victims of financial abuse can regain their financial independence by adopting privacy-preserving cryptocurrencies, which are based on
a decentralized system and are fully anonymous. Because of discrimination against women in the IT and financial industries, men who invested in cryptocurrencies invested twice as much as women in 2020. Introducing NFT (Non-Fungible Token) art to women is, in my opinion, a fantastic way to get women involved in cryptocurrencies and the world of blockchain.

“NFT-New Feminists’ Territory” is a project that includes a collection of NFT arts that are hand drawn by me. Each piece of artwork depicts a distinct flower that represents different feminine attributes. As the creator of this NFT collection, I receive 10% of the total sale price as an NFT royalty each time an NFT is exchanged. I will donate my royalties from this project to charities that support women’s financial independence, such as the “Malala Fund” and “Invest in Girls”. These NFTs are open for bid.
